About Our "Automated" Users

You may have noticed some "users" in our forums have an icon below their name that says "Super70s.com Automated Posting." This denotes that this user was created by me to post old messages (we used to call them "feedbacks") that were left by visitors before this new community (forums, blogs, ect.) was created.

In other words, if you left a "Share Your Memories" message before March of 2006 on our sites, it will more than likely have been posted to these new forums by one of our "automated" users. This should answer the question some of you have doubtless wondered: "How come (automated user) keeps replying to himself in the forums?"

I wish I could have simply created new accounts for all who have posted in the past since this would allow them to "own" these previous messages, but that simply was not an option.

Sorry for any confusion, but having these old messages (several thousand of them!) adds greatly to our community.
