One of the best detective programs around. Up there with the greats such as Columbo and Ironside.

I am a big fan of Quincy and I try to watch whenever I'm not at college. I really like Quincy's attitude, especially towards Astin.

I thought Quincy M.E. was a very educational show because he tackled problems that we're tackling now such as Rape, Child Abuse & pornography, and Tourette's Syndrome. My favorite 2 episodes were A Good Smack In the Mouth & Never A Child. Thanks to him we are now using some of the same crime solving equipment He used in his show, and the hospitals now have rape kits.

Wow what a Treat that was to watch this show. Everone is making a big fuss about CSI now a days when Quincy was doing it for a long time before them. I say Bring back the old shows. No Sex, No Violence, and it was still great shows.

I love Quincy, it was such a great show! I loved all of the mystery, action, science and drama. It was like todays shows CSI, Murder She Wrote, Crossing Jordon, Law and Order All rolled into ONE! It always tried to teach you something, a lesson about drugs or alcohol, they deal with all kinds of issues, teenage athletes on steroids, rape. He was so passionate about his work and the truth. And I loved at the end of most of the shows Qunicy, Astin, Sam, Monahan and guest de jour would sit at his friends restaurant and end the show usually making you laugh. I would love to see Jack reprise the role for a few movies of the week, I think people would love it, I know I would.

This much underated TV show has had a dramatic effect on my teenage years. Quincy showed that with persistance and belief in yourself, amazing results could be achieved. This has now become a metaphor for my life and I feel I'm a better person for it. Maybe some of series 2 (his best) could be remade with say David Blane playing the great man.

Since I watched this show from ages 9 -15 (plus reruns, it really had an impresesion on my character (seriously). It showed me conviction, hard work, analysis, discovery etc. All the pieces of solving a complicated biological mystery and cleaning up California of various foul play. A great show!

I have been trying to tell people about Quincy M.E. since I first saw the program re-runs a few years ago. Although at times Quincy can seem to be somewhat 'too good to be true', he is however a great example to everyone by showing that whatever your personal or professional status is, justice must prevail. If more people had the same will to fight bureaucracy as he did the world would surely be a better place.

Undoubtedly the finest show that crossed the Atlantic. His ability to solve crimes that one of the largest police departments in the world were unable to solve shows his brillance. Personally, I alwayas loved the "freeze frame" ending, usually over a beer and with a side splitting moment of comic genius at Quincy's expense

I can't say that I have a favorite epsisode, as I enjoyed them all. I love to go back and watch the reruns just to see how far we have come in this field.

But my favorite thing about Quincey, is the opening credits of the show. I love the part where all the rookie cops are lined up beside the covered body of the next autopsy. The first ones faint when Quincy removes the sheet, the next go when he picks up the hypdermic and by the time he gets down to the "nitty-gritty" he looks over the table and they are all on the floor.

I think that is just a classic scene, that I never get tired of watching.

Quincy is just the best programme! hr is so lovely, and I love the way he nearly always gets the bad guy! I just wonder if Jack Klugman is still alive? He's the kind of guy I would have liked for a dad.

I have been addicted to true crime books and all the forensic shows on A&E and Discovery Channel. It all started with Qunicy. Even though the show could be a bit forced at times, it started the whole crime fighter through science trend we see now. I was a young mother when it started, and I adored Lynnette Mettey as Lee. I thought she was the most attractive girl -- and her figure was to die for. I also thought she had a beautiful yellow Super70s apartment, and that she deserved to be treated a lot better by Quince! I loved Sam for his diligence and his patience, and I thought he was the brains at the lab. My mom and I would watch an episode, and then call each other right afterwards. I can't wait to get the DVD.
