    Mark Shera on S.W.A.T.

I was watching a "Love Boat" episode on TVLand last night and Mark Shera was on it. I had pretty much forgotten the huge crush I had on him when "S.W.A.T." was originally on. I don't remember much about the episodes, except one where they were celebrating Christmas. Being from Iowa, it was hard for me to imagine it being Christmas and everything was green and sunny.

I really enjoyed this show. As an 11-12 year old I had a huge crush on Mark Shera. My brother and I watched every episode. I still follow mark Shera's Career to this day. I always thought how cool it was when the team would travel in their mobile unit, which always reminded me of a UPS truck and the theme is the best; great Super70s theme. Makes me want to don on the gear and get the bad guys! Lt. Hondo was always the indestructable leader!

Ok, I thought that I was the only silly little girl in the world who had a huge crush on Mark Shera. I absolutely loved SWAT. I was dissapointed when it went off the air. Then he shows up on Barnaby Jones! This was another great show that seems to be lost forever. As we speak, Blockbuster on line is shipping me the first season. I hope my two boys like it, too bad if they don't.
