With all the channels available now and all the old shows rerunning, when's SWAT gonna be shown...at least here in Canada. Couldn't have been more than 8 yrs old when it was on air. I thought it was the coolest show in the world. Copied hairstyles, the tactical moves with toy guns, etc.; I think even to today's TV standards this program would hold up. It's just sad that Robert Urich passed away recently--especially having heard recently that it will be made into a bigtime movie soon.

I was only 14 when this show aired I loved it. My parents even got into the show. I wish that it would make a come back on TV. To me they do not make shows like this anymore, the action was great.

As far as I can remember, I enjoyed all of the episodes of S.W.A.T. A police drama that should have been kept on the air. Without a doubt, SWAT would have definitely been NUMBER ONE in the ratings

Wow SWAT was an awesome show in its era, what I can remember the most TJ the sniper who always turned his hat around before looking down the scope. That’s when in school all the kids started turning their hats around. Kewl!

I was only 7 when SWAT aired but I remember it being my favorite show at that time. I still remember the opening where they would repel down the building. I thought that was so cool. And also how they would jump out of the back of the SWAT van. I recently read that Sony is planning to make a S.W.A.T. movie based on the original tv show. Production was scheduled for last year but was postponed. If all goes well, the movie will be released in the summer, 2003.

I was ten years oil when S. W. A. T. came on tv, the opening theme music was so cool I knew that this was going to be a program to watch. TV LAND needs to bring this show back on plus alot more police action programs. BTW GREAT WEB SITE.

Here in Brazil, the TV Show was played fm late 77 till late 78 aproximatelly. I was (and I am) fond of S.W.A.T.. Unfortulately we lost Robert Ulrich (Street) on April 16,2002. He was a fighting symbol about sarcoma cancer. Rest in Peace.

When I was about 8 or 9 during it's first run, I loved this show. I just got the Complete First Season on DVD and have to say it's still tremendous. Of course, it has (next to Hawaii 5-0) the best opening and theme song in TV history. It's very cheezy, over the top, extremely violent (for primetime, even now), but there's still a certain charm to it. If you've never seen it, it's worth watching (not buying) but watching. If you loved it while you were a kid the first season DVD is a must-buy. Just a chance to see the opening whenever you can is worth it.

Awesome show! I just recently purchased the DVD and am having a blast with it. It's been years since I've seen this show and it sure brings back a lot of good memories! Call me old fashioned, but I love the disco theme of the song! Great action and great story lines. Loved to see the guys in action!

I was about ten years old when SWAT came on Tv. My freinds loved the action theme song. That stuck in our heads like the SWAT member that turned his cap backwards before pulling off his bad guy stopper shop. That was cool! I'll never forget the Super70s because Chattanooga, TN was soulful. Right-On! All of te Super70s TV pretty much seem to set the tone for the next decades. Lost many good shows, but they were best for daydreameers. Today's programs are just too realistic.
