My favorite was an episode where Dr. Keith's pediatric prestidigitation made two of his patients desire him as a stepfather over their widowed mother's current steady; the doc's uptight medical colleague. The highlights of the episode: the widow confessing she's accepted the proposal of an Air Force officer returning from European duty; and the birthday-party magic show with Keith dressed as the titular character. It featured his real-life wife, who played "Nurse Puni," as his lovely assistant (complete with tophat, semi-tuxedo, and tails)! All-in-all, it was warmly funny and charming. But, in hindsight, it tends to get overshadowed by a very similar episode of "The
Odd Couple."
