My favorite was an episode where Dr. Keith's pediatric prestidigitation made two of his patients desire him as a stepfather over their widowed mother's current steady; the doc's uptight medical colleague. The highlights of the episode: the widow confessing she's accepted the proposal of an Air Force officer returning from European duty; and the birthday-party magic show with Keith dressed as the titular character. It featured his real-life wife, who played "Nurse Puni," as his lovely assistant (complete with tophat, semi-tuxedo, and tails)! All-in-all, it was warmly funny and charming. But, in hindsight, it tends to get overshadowed by a very similar episode of "The Odd Couple."

I was a kid, but fondly remember the show. I loved the location, and the concept. But most of all I loved the stars of the show. I'm glad I'm not alone in my enjoyment of this show. The Super70s were great!

I have been searching in my memory banks for years trying to remember the name of this show. This show made quite the impression on me when I was a kid because Brian Keith seemed like such a gentle person and father figure. I finally did a search and found out this was the show all along. For some reason the title doesn't depict what the show was about. I remember the feel that it was shot in Hawaii or somewhere tropical and the zowy shirts he would wear. I wish this was on tape or DVD. Any chance of that?? It is amazing what sticks in your "feel good" memories.
