    Insider's view of Real People

I was the first editor George Schlatter hired to do Real People. I came to work for him on February 25, 1979 and stayed with the show until it went off the air. I remember just about everything we did on that show, the cast members, but especially its creator, George Schlatter. He was the best executive producer I've ever worked for and I'm still working in TV as an editor and I can still make that claim.

So tell me, what would you like to know? Maybe you can write to me in care of this site.
[Editor's note: Any interesting behind-the-scenes stories you can share would be most welcome by the Real People fans who frequent this site. I'll be sure to post them.]
