    Living the Life of Bronson

Most of us watching "Then Came Bronson" back in the sixties and Super70s could only dream of taking off on a motorcycle like Jim Bronson. Well, for me it became more than a dream and I actually did live on my motorcycle for a year and a half while travelling all through the US, Canada and Mexico. Like Bronson, whenever I needed money I would find a job and an economical place to live (spent my share of time in barns, houses under construction, back porches and campgrounds. I had a tent and sleeping bag, cooking gear and was self-sufficient. All told, I only spent less than 10 days total in motel rooms the entire time. That was probably the best time of my life. No pressure, no worries and an infinite number of adventures just waiting down the highway. This country and it's people were quite a bit different back then. I'm not sure if it could be done the same way today. However, I have a lifetime of great memories and experiences from that time. Perhaps someday I'll write 'em down, but for now finding this website brought back a lot of memories!
