    Loved To the Manor Born!

I was looking for another intelligent Britcom and decided to give this a try. What a pleasant surprise! I have to admit not being a fan of "Good Neighbors" nor did I care much for the character Penelope Keith played in that earlier series. But she is PERFECT as Mrs. fforbes-Hamilton. In fact this is about as well-cast a series as I've ever seen. I've let several friends borrow my tapes and they've all enjoyed them.

To the manor born is a simply smashing comedy. It's Jolly Funny. I watch it on dvd with my tea and crumpets with Nigel my little Basset Hound. He is in love with Bertie, Audrey's dog. I do hope that you continue premoting such a smashing jolly hockey-stick british comedy!

This is one of the best shows to cross the seas or even the airways. It is funny, touching, and informative all rolled into one package. The cast works beautifully together. If you think of it, many of the episodes reflect life. Love Penelope Keith, she is truly a star!!
