Texas Wheelers with Jack Elam was a favorite!

The Texas Wheelers is one of my all-time favorites. Jack Elam is one of the funniest actors ever, and this role was "him" all the way. I was a teenaged girl when this show aired, yet somehow it spoke to me. Did I say that Jack Elam is funny to the core? This was on the heels of Support Your Local Sheriff and Support Your Local Gunfighter, where I first fell for Jack! I still think of it whenever I see Mark Hamil or Gary Busey...they'll always be those guys from The Texas Wheelers to me. Absolutely under-rated show that should have had more staying power.

It was the best, period, the end.
Jack Elam as the "ever-lovin daddy," was priceless.
Gary Busey and Mark Hamill as the sons . . .
    this was good, good, good.
