    2000: Tu-154 crash

My sister was working in the "Iran Air Tour" as a stewardess in a Tupolov TU 154, crashed on Feb. 2000 in the high mountain top of Khoramabad. In the mourning of the same day we were informed about the crash and Due to the very hard and unreachable conditions of the crash site we were flew there three days later for identification of the bodies (not bodies but whatever remained from the bodies), I will never ever forget that unpleasant experience in my whole life. I had lived with my sister 24 years in one home but it takes 24 min. to recognize her body and finally I was not quit sure of that and since my father is a dentist he made sure from one of her teeth which had been worked on that before. They announced that the reason of the crash was due to the pilot failure but I am not sure about that and I know something(s) else interfered this accident. My personal experience in TU 154 was terible, a crowd, small and very noisy environment inside !!!

I have flown with various type of air carfts but this one was something else. During the landing and engine reverse I really felt that the engines will blow off soon. Since then I tried to avoid travels by plane as much as possible.

Mr. "Patrick Mondout" you thanked me for visiting but I would like to thank you and all "awesome8ers" for this site and the opportunity given to me to share the experiences.

    Alireza
