My uncle was on PSA 182

My father's youngest brother, Farrell Kimball, was a passenger on PSA 182. His will was on him and it took a long time to identify his remains. . . in the meantime his children were in limbo as to what would happen to them.

I had recently moved from San Diego (Mission Valley) to Auburn, California outside of Sacramento the prior year. . . I had a large house with no children and it made sense to bring them home. I ended up becoming their guardian.

It has been 25 years now and I haven't had the courage to look on the web and look up pictures and stories until now. The kids are now grown and they still suffer from the loss of their father.

This will always be an icon in our lives we will never recover from, but hopefully, we are better folks from having been survivors of the loss of so many.
