    Favorite episode?

California Fever, though short lived, touched a lot of teenage minds. Guys loved the Camaro, girls loved the driver, Vince, played by Jimmy McNichol. It's okay though, most of us guys were in love with his sister, Kristy, myself included.

My favorite episode surrounded Vince getting involved in a bit of drag racing, when a brunette ixen in a beater mid 60's Mustang blew into town and stole his heart and a lot of money with one of the first "sleepers". The Mustang looked like a beater, but under the hood, whew, it was ready. If I remember, it had Nitrous Oxide injection, which was really trick and new to the market at the time. Anyway, as usual, good prevailed and she was on her way.

Yeah would like to see that drag race episode again. Looked to be a cool old trashy 65-66 mustang, convertible I think, with NOS which was the new shizzle back then. There was a hot chick and her brother who scammed people out of their cars drag racing, and the 4 on the floor kids had to save the day. I think a guy lost his brothers Corvette or something and they had to win it back. Some good car spotting in this episode which for the guys was a major draw card of the show, and the blow waved chicks. By the way, did kids actually drive cars like that to school in the US? or is this a Hollywood thing. They looked to be pretty affordable there in those days. In New Zealand the closest thing we got to a muscle car was a Mk 3 zephyr, jacked up with home made lake pipes. And a paint job that could be had for a bottle of bourbon or less.
