I was only 8 yrs old when Chico and the Man was on but I loved it!!! It was such a funny show. I remember the theme song fondly, we would always sing it together. I was thrilled when TV Land started airing it. I have'nt seen it on their channel lately, but it was wonderful to watch. And in watching TV Land I realized that Della, was actually the very talented Mrs. Della Reese. I hope they run the program again soon. Freddie Prinze was so funny and for all those Freddie Prinze Jr. fans, yes it's his father. Enjoy the show.

I started watching this show about the time it 1st started airing. I think I actually seen the 1st episode where Jack Albertson yells at Chico, "Get out of here and take your flies with you!" I didn't understand why he didn't like him, then this was long before I knew about racism. It's been a very, very long time since I seen the show (except one night here in Phoenix, AZ I caught a spanish dub version of it on Telemundo!!) I don't speak the language but I still laughed. I also recall that on January 28th, 1977 Freddie Prinze took his own life away! I remember for that's the same day my family moved to California.

I know I'd really like to see it again!
