Wow. What a website! All I see are these two words "Getting
Together" and somewhere from deep within my memory banks, GoogleOblongata (the
search engine in my brain) retrieves
- The theme song: "Get-ting! Get-ting
together! I can see/you and me/working it out in harmony. . . ;"
- The
star, Bobby Sherman, back in his day -- post-Here Come the Brides, I'm guessing;
and
- His co-star, was there really a guy named Wes Stern? Western? Oh my
goodness. . . AND
- Wes Stern's character's name. . . was it Lionel
Poindexter?
I swear to you people, I have not thought about this show
for one tenth of one sixteenth of one iota of a second since it was actually on
the air and all these memories came rushing back just now seeing it listed here
on this website. How much other junk is up there in my 40-something brain?
That's why my brain isn't operating at full throttle; it's weighed down by
things like "Wes Stern Played Lionel Poindexter on Getting Together with Bobby
Sherman. " Is there a way to purge all this info from my brain now that we have
the internet to remember stuff like this for us? If I could get in there and
clean out some of this junk maybe I'd be able to start remembering things like.
. . my anniversary, for crying out loud!
