    Favorite Rhoda episodes

My favorite episode of RHODA was the one where Joe finally proposes marriage to Rhoda. I especially loved the epilog, where Rhoda telephoned Mary Richards to announce the good news. I consider this scene as the ultimate victory of Rhoda over Mary: even though they were best friends, there was always a sub-conscious rivalry over elegible men.

    Re: Favorite Rhoda episodes

Rhoda is the best show ever. The episode in which she went to the theatre alone and ran into an elderly lady who pilots a ship to a foreign planet and a waitress who is more of a Socrates than a Flo is comedy perfection. Of course, the elderly lady was only grabbing for attention.

    Re: Favorite Rhoda episodes

My favorite episode of Rhoda is One is a Number from Season 4, this is after Rhoda divorced Joe. Rhoda went to the threatre alone and ended up meeting a woman, played by Anne Jackson, was a waitress in profession but a philospher in reality. She just had so much wonder insight into life. Only the great-hearted Rhoda would give so much respect to a waitress and to human beings in general, and it was great to finally see Rhoda come to enjoy her own company. Anyway, it was Rhoda's tradement combination of heart, thoughtfulness, and hilarity.

My all-time fave episode of Rhoda, is when Julie Kavner's character (Brenda), fell in love with an FBI Agent, played by the gorgeous Tim Matheson.

    Re: Favorite Rhoda episodes

Valerie, Julie, and Nancy Walker were brilliant together, and the producers created characters that all of us could relate to. It was a great show with a humanitarian theme and a focus on feelings. It was magic and nearly perfect, an underrated gem. One is a Number, in which Rhoda went to the theatre alone, is the best episode.

    Re: Favorite Rhoda episodes

My favorite episode of Rhoda and one of the biggest calamities in tv history was Rhoda's wedding. Rhoda's pseudo friend Phyllis (played by Cloris Leachman) begged Rhoda to participate in her wedding and all she had to do was pick Rhoda up to take her to the wedding. Phyllis shows up at the wedding in grand fashion and everyone asks where is the bride. Rhoda unable to catch a cab in the Bronx is forced to take the subway and run through steps hills of Bronx to her own wedding.
