    Re: Memories of Medical Center

I thought I was the only person who loved and remembered Medical Center. It is great to see I am not alone. I loved Michelle's story - I have that episode on tape and have watched it probably 100 times. I thought it was so funny that Dr. Gannon was trying to write this speech through this whole episode, and everyone was making fun of his speech. That was one of my favorite episodes. I also enjoyed the one where some kid named Kyle stole money from his parents and he turned out to be deaf because his step mother, played by Estelle Parsons got drunk and came on to him, and he could not live with the memory of her doing that. And lets not forget about the girl who was blind - Fright and Flight - because she walked in on her father having an affair.

Back then, they left something to your imagination on TV. Those were the good old days. I also loved the episode with Cameron Mitchell when he had a daughter named Alicia, who fell in love with Dr. Gannon. She could not walk because her father came on to her, also in a drunken state, and she could not live with it. Dr. Gannon was so good to her, trying not to break her heart. I could go on and on, but I wanted to thank Michelle for her wonderful story.

I also loved Medical Center. I had a alcoholic abusive father and I used to pretend that Dr. Gannon would rescue me like he did his patients! I never missed a episode as we had no vcr's!

Does anyone have episodes taped that I can buy copies of? and I agree -why doesn't TV Land put this show on for us!! -- It is a great Medical drama!! If you have any episodes please contact me at laureanneh@yahoo. com Thanks!!! LH Cape Cod, MA
