    Memories of Flying High

I remember I was about 7 years old and this show only stayed on about 6 or so weeks. I think Connie Seleca (boy was I drooling!) was in my favorite episode. The story was about three stewardesses, boy what a show for a young male!!! Anyway the only episode I remember was the captain faked being blind so he could live with the three stewardesses and of course tried to catch a peek of them whenever possible.

    Re: Memories of Flying High

This came on the heels of Charlie's Angels. I remember the great, upbeat, energetic theme song! I can still hear it in my head and hum it to this day!! connie selleca was so pretty as one the stewardesses; she later found fame on greatest american hero. I also liked another cast member, Pat Klous who became the Love Boat cruise director years later. I remember most the episode where connie had to land a plane herself because the pilot was taken ill. everything worked very well in this episode, with inspired performances from many guest characters, the scenes moving from high humor to pathos to real scare. It was a small masterpiece which, come to think of it, could have inspired the big screen "airplane" feature.

    Re: Memories of Flying High

I was so looking forward to seeing this show. Afterall, Charlie's Angels was already a big hit. Another show featuring three lovely ladies was at the very least, a curious thing to look into. Will lightning strike a second time? Will the second trip to the well be just as successful? Sadly, the show folded up quickly. The girls were pretty, alright, but just how many times can you put the trio of stewardesses into bikinis and tight-fitting clothing? Writers at that time could not also find much story and humor in the airplane setting.

But thanks to the show for giving us Connie Selleca and Pat Klous, pretty models turned actresses who achieved modest popularity in other tv productions. I love the way they look and please, will somebody put the show on dvd along with other Charlie's Angels-inspired or copycat shows like The American Girls, the original Cagney & Lacey mini-series, Legwork, Firefox, Dangerous Curves, Angel Street and the TV-movie Cover Girls. Let's feast our eyes on those girls once again!
