I was 8 when this show was on. I absolutely remember the opening where the words "Ghost Story" were formed from some wispy smoke or fog (the theme music was creepy as hell). Then Sebastian Cabot would do the intro. Halfway through the show's run it became "Circle of Fear" with a new opening showing distorted views of people's faces. No more Cabot. But it is a "Circle of Fear" episode that I remember best. It was the one called "Earth, Air, Fire, Water" about a group of artists (super hippies at that time) who all move into some old building to share a workspace. They discover these jars and then weird stuff starts happening. I believe they start dropping off until the end where Frank Converse comes staggering out in the street. Everyone is afraid of him and he turns to the camera and we see why:his face has become like the abstract scluptures he had been making. After all these years I still remember it.
