    Favorite 240 Robert episodes

I remember Morgan trying to land her helicopter like a plane due to a rotor malfunction. They spread foam on the runway to help her land smoothly. A very exciting and memorable moment.

    Re: Favorite 240 Robert episodes

Oh my goodness! I thought I was the only 13 year old kid crushed out an a very young Mark Harmon ("Thib"). Whenever I try to describe this show, no one ever has a clue what I am talking about. I am glad to see that others enjoyed it as much as I did!

240 Robert was one of the best shows when i was a kid. I had the model bronco and even the cheezy poster they once had.

    Re: Favorite 240 Robert episodes

240 Robert was and still is my favorite all-time TV show. My favorite episode is "Bank Job" but I LOVE the pilot episode as well! I REALLY wish someone would revive the show. Mark Harmon is JUST as cute now as he was then!

    Re: Favorite 240 Robert episodes

I enjoyed 240-Robert and Code Red when I was growing up. Would love to see them re-run on TV. There were so many good shows on in the Super70s Awesome80s, mostly junk now!

I used to make LEGO rescue vehicles with the multi-coloured lights on the roof so they looked like those on 240 robert. Why was the series discontinued?

    Re: Favorite 240 Robert episodes

I loved the show and was really bummed when it was cancelled. I had a serious crush on Morgan (Joanna Cassidy) and used to daydream how hot it would be to be a cop and fly a chopper like that. Fast forward 20 years. I was in law enforcement and got the opportunity to fly the same type of helicopter on my job. Now if I could only talk my wife into letting me hook up with Joanna Cassidy my the dream would be complete!!!

    Re: Favorite 240 Robert episodes

I watched 240-Robert growing up in China and my sisters and I all loved it and had a crush on Mark Harmon. I tried to get more info after I came to this country and no one remembers the show. I am glad I found this website and wish someone would put all the episodes on DVD.

    Re: Favorite 240 Robert episodes

Never really got to watch it due to Monday Night Football.  Stupid night to put it on anyway for us west coasters! Did however buy the Ford Bronco model.  I never knew it came back on Saturdays in '81.  Thank goodness for this site. I can sorta see what I missed all those years ago! This show was like Emergency, Sierra and Chopper One rolled into one!

    Re: Favorite 240 Robert episodes

My wife makes fun of me talking to my teen-age sons about 240-Robert. I had the Bronco kit, but gave it away (stupid). I actually scratch-built a 500C helicopter of 240-Air when I was 14 - extended gear and all. It's somewhere in my attic. It would be great to get copies of the episodes. My favorite one was when Cueva crashlands in the news helicopter and it's helicopters galore. Those were the days.

    Re: Favorite 240 Robert episodes

I spent years trying to remember the name of this show. Thank you google! I only have vague recollections of it. The cockpit of a helecoptor filled with spiders, a scubadiver trapped underwater and being sucked in to a giant grate. that is about all I can recall, other than the sense that the show was very cool. Hey I was 4 when it aired. I am impressed I remember as much as I do.

    Re: Favorite 240 Robert episodes

240-robert was one of my favorite shows !! I was so dissapointed when they cancelled it - I thought the banter between john b. perry and joanna cassidy was hilarious! "morgan was always getting the better of "trap", who had some issues about working with morgan because 1- she was a woman and 2- they had dated briefly.

    Re: Favorite 240 Robert episodes

I'm happy that so many people remember 240-robert as fondly as I do- my favorite episodes were:

    1. The pilot episode [the ending when morgan and trap were in the helicopter, and morgan had put on the loud speaker so that everyone at the head quarters could hear trap apologizing to her was so funny. . "
    2. and the one where "thib" lost his sight [because Mark Harmon was in a lot of that episode]

I wish this series was available on dvd - i'd buy it in a heartbeat.
