Lindsay Wagner was perfectly cast as The Bionic Woman, and deserves credit for making the character poignant and memorable in an era of jiggling chests and leering television subject matter. Naturally beautiful, Wagner wore little makeup, rarely smiled, and usually appeared with uncoiffed hair and regular clothes. She sold the character of Jaime with her excellent and believable acting, and well as a strong supperting cast and good storylines for the greater run of the show.
Stand out episodes would of course include the "Kill Oscar" fembot trilogy, as well as "Fembots In Las Vegas" the following season, "Jaime's Mother" with guest actress Barbara Rush, "Sister Jaime" where she portrays a nun, the "Deadly Ringer" episodes for which she won a 1977 Emmy (fantastic acting), and the final episode "On The Run, " where Jaime learns some lessons aboout her worth as a person and not just as a superpowered crime fighter for the government.
