Memories of From a Bird's Eye View

I distinctly remember that " From a Birds Eye View" was about two stewardesses that got into all kinds of wacky mayhem. It starred Pay Finley who would later be featured on the Bob Newhart show as Howard Bordens girlfriend. Birds Eye was silly, but as a 10 year old, it was a lot of fun. I think it was very short lived and was possibly a summer replacement series

I only remember it barely when I was in the 8th grade. I thought it was funny and Pay was cute too.

I'm so glad somebody other than me remembers From a Bird's Eye View. I have asked all my friends, but they thought I was hallucinating. I remeber that the stewardess' shared a beach house. One would go out and the other would come in, causing all sorts of confusion. I was about six when the show was on, but it must have been very short-lived. I think it was sort of Love, American Style crossed with Petticoat Junction with a little That Girl mixed in.

Hard to believe, but I still remember the theme from the opening credits.  Amazing, since it only aired a few times and hasn't been heard in 35 years.  I tried to find the lyrics on the web, to no avail.

The only snippets of the lyrics I can recall are:

    "The bird is very clever...

    blah, blah, blah....

It knows how to feather its nest!"

And the lyrics ended with the name of the program.
