Loved this show! Was all my friends favorite. Should have stayed on the air longer. NBC Never gave it a chance. Also starred Wayne Maunder who did Lancer and Custer. The downfall of this show was when they replaced the original actors. They should have left it alone! Probably cut because of all the negative talk and blaming societys problems on television. Isn't funny thought that none of my friends who watched theses show ended up being the derelicts of society.

This aired about the same time as S.W.A.T. and I think this was an ABC answer to NBC's S.W.A.T., and yes they were both cancelled because of the complaints about violence. I loved the show because they drove a grey 1973 Plymouth Satelitte cop car (I think it changed colors from the pilot episode). I really loved all those Chrysler cop cars from the Super70s. They ROCK!!!!

My brother asked me last night what the name of this show was and I had a good laugh we NEVER missed an episode. Wayne Maunder WAS the show. I remember they had the cool German Shepard "Fuzz". I thought this show was really slick - of course I was about twelve at the time but I just thought it was such a smart show. I wish I could find some episodes to watch now on reruns. With Adam-12 it would be a cool night of old cop tv shows. One undercover and one definitely not. :-)

My sisters and I loved the show. We never missed it. I liked the character of Sgt. Sam McCray ( he sure looked good with that beret) and the police dog. It was the first time I ever saw a German Shepard used as a police helper and it just made me like Sam's sharacter that much more when he was concerned for his "partner". I liked the original cast best. The show's theme music and opening credits were cool. We never missed that show. I never knew it was taken off the air for its violence. It seemed like just another cop show to us. Thanks for giving CHASE a spot on this web page. Great memories !

This was a favorite show of mine and my sisters. I wish someone knew how to get one of the TV stations to re-run the episodes. I don't remember any of the episodes but I remember the actors: Wayne Maunder played Sam McRae and had a german shepherd called FUZZ
Reid Smith played Norm Hamilton and piloted a helicopter
Michael Richardson was officer Steve Baker and drove (I believe) a 1971 - 72 Plymouth Satalite
Brian Fong was officer Fred Sing and rode a motorcycle.
Wayne Maunder was the Sargent and I think the unit was run by Mitchel Ryan who was Chase Reddick

It's nice to know there are others out there who agree with me that also liked this show.
