    8 is Enough favorite episodes...

My Favorite episode of Eight Is Enough was "Jeremy" because Ralph Macchio was on it. The show came out in 1977 which made me only 1 year-old. When Ralph Macchio was on the movie "The Karate Kid", I fell in love with him. When I saw the T.V. show "Eight Is Enough" for the first time, I almost did not recognize him at first, but when I saw the episode "Jeremy Returns", I didn't know who he was at first but when my sister asked me who that guy was and I told her that I had no idea who that was, she told me, "That was Ralph Macchio when he was younger before he played Daniel LaRusso on the movie, "The Karate Kid". After I saw the episode, "Jeremy Returns" I kept on watching this show. On the episode "Jeremy Returns" I don't really remember much about the episode because I was only about 6 years-old at that time.

Re: 8 is Enough favorite episodes...

I would like to share with you my two favourite Eight is Enough episodes. My favourite was when Joannie was in charge of a talent show to raise money for a local orphanage, the big star backed out at the last minute, and then all the other acts did as well. What was Joannie to do? Ask her family to perform in the show of course! It was fun watching them all sing, dance and have a ball. Brother David brought everyone to tears at the end with a song he wrote for his family, thanking them for not forgetting he is still with them, even though he moved away. The song "Eight is Enough" later became the show's theme song.

My other favourite (everyone knows this one for sure) was the first Christmas following the death of the first mother. Tom had just recently remarried (Abby) and son Tom was having a difficult time during the holiday, missing his real mom. A burgler disguised as Santa stole all the family's Christmas presents, except for one. This gift was hidden away for Tommy, from you guessed it - his mother. A real tear jerker at the end.
