Loved the theme song. When the show first started , the theme was just music. After a few episodes the words were added. If I had a favorite episode, its the one where town teacher, Miss Essie, tired of being unmarried, and more tired of being taken for granted, by her feller, Big Swede, tries to charm Jason, to no avail. One scene had her getting ready, for another night alone. During this scene Essie sings a sweet sad song- Dreams Of My Childhood. -After a big fight with Jason, Big Swede asks Essie to marry him. She does.
