    Favorite Hogan's Heroes episodes...

One of my favorite episodes was when Carter impersonated Hitler. For the most part Carter was portrayed as a dim wit. But then during the course of the show he would be given such demanding missions like the Hitler episode, which would always leave you wondering. Was Carter as big a dim wit as he acted or was that just a front as well? Either way it makes Carter one of the most interesting characters of this show.

I loved this show; watched it every day after school during its syndication run. Great theme song. Anybody remember the episode where Carter is supposed to tap into his Native American roots and shoot a flaming arrow at a convoy? He ends up hitting the window frame instead. I still laugh at that image!

HOGAN!!! What a show, many years were spent here. . . . Anyway, lots of actors made leaps form this show- of interesting note the lead actors playing "Nazi&'s" Col. Klink & Maj. Hochschtter were both Jewish! Hogan could sell snow to an eskimo & Klink was always the wuilling Eskimo. . . Best episode was when Klink had to marry Gen. Burchalter&'s sister- but instead it was Schultz!!! A cross-between Stalag 17 & a Marx brothers movie. . . Now they want to make a movie about it, we&' ll see as it is kinda dated. . . .
