Did you know the guy that drove the Ward laFrance was an actual fireman? YUP! and the Dodge squad truck is in the hands of a collector? (I'm a Dodge truck nut - there was actually two different squads-a VERY early 1972 and the later was a late 1973}. It must of been a custom conversion because no post 1971 Dodge truck had running boards. The TV truck looks like it has 62-71 300 series runningboards retro fitted to it. And didn't Julie london look great? We have come soooo far today. These guys today would be barely considered to be B.L.S. qualified. They do great things those A.L.S.qualifeed heroes of today. In 1972 they couldnt dream of advance life support in the feild.
