I didn't give a bloody rip about what they taught about nutrition. Their songs were horrendous and the acting was torture. . . akin to eating nothing but vegetables for a lifetime. But. . . my undying prepubescent lust for Mike Mulligan and that thick, dark hair (which is really the only thing I remember about the show) kept me riveted to the screen. I ended up marrying a man with thick, dark hair and being very health-conscious, even now at 42 years of age, thanks to my first love. . . Mike Mulligan.
