Re: Memories of Kraft Music Hall

My favorite episode of The Kraft Music Hall is from October 21, 1959. Perry Como hosts this hour with guests Nat "King" Cole and Rosemary Clooney. The threesome was (and still is) the epitome of music. I also enjoy the May, 1968 episode hosted by Eddy Arnold, in which he sings "Turn The World Around". The July, 1968 episode of the KMH Summer series, hosted by Ed McMahon, is also great.

Re: Memories of Kraft Music Hall

The Kraft Music Hall that aired on July 16, 1969 with Carol Lawrence guest starring was definitely memorable. This very talented singer, dancer, comedienne, and actress made a tremendously difficult 7 minute song and dance sequence look effortless. Like, how many '60's entertainers could sing, while being lifted into the air and then doing a backflip. . . all while still looking gorgeous! Truly, Ms. Lawrence should have had her own show in the 'Super70s had it not been that the age of the variety show was on the decline.
