Classic Super70s! A very young and pre-Dallas Patrick Duffy starred in this late Super70s show with Alan Frost and the delectable Belinda Montgomery. The first three episodes were all feature length programmes with great plots and production values as well as a very hummable theme tune. The 2nd full length episode with the two aliens that took on the form of scuba divers that they had killed was the best. These aliens had to be kept apart as they were of opposite polarity and when together create some form of electrical lethal weapon. Unfortunately, it was downhill rapidly after this and the hourly episodes that followed were execrable in the extreme. Terrible plots (the campy Mr. Shubert in every second episode, the Romeo and Juliet time travel episode, and back to the wild west to meet his evil twin Billy teh Kid, I ask you. . . . ) and poor dialogue that even a nine-year-old could tear to pieces (i. e. me c. 1978). I remember Patrick Duffy being interviewed about how difficult it was for him as in the underwater shots, he had to swim in a dolphin manner all the while holding his breath as obviously a water dweller would not release air bubbles! Fond memories, but I don't think I'd like to shatter them by actually seeing an episode nearly 30 years later. . . .
