    Favorite episodes of Movin' On

    Attachment: MovingOn(180).jpg
[My favorite episode was] the one where the little girl mistakenly got into Will and Sonny's sleeper and they were halfway across the country before she was discovered in the sleeper. I loved all the episodes, and wish I could find them on DVD or tape for my little boy. He loves trucks, and I think he would cherish these shows!

Re: Favorite episodes of Movin' On

My favorite episode was when Will and Sonny were dispatched to a mine operation to pick up a load but the miners were on strike. Will didn't want to cross the picket line and Sonny didn't respect the picket line. Will jumped ship to support the miners which really p'd off Sonny. I once sang the theme song at a company Christmas party that hired a Karaoke d-j.The company was a freight broker/ transportation division company. All the employees present thought it was a fabulous idea.By the end the night we had sung all the truckin song that dj had. I haven't been able to find the the theme song on any music download sites, can you help me with this problem.

The theme was done by Merle Haggard and it's easy enough to find. There is an episode where Will goes to buy his own truck - a Diamont Reo C119 Raider (they only made 500 before the company went out of business) - the night the that show aired was the day they went out of business. Ohhh way to go Bighorn!!!

This was the episode called PROSPERITY NUMBER ONE and I was an extra in it. My buddy was Claude Akins stand-in. I wish NBC would release Movin' On so it could be sold on DVD. I'd really like to have a copy of this particular show.

If you are talking about the little girl that mistakenly got in Sonny and Wills truck and rode with them to Charlotee before being reunited with her daddy that episode was called "Will the last trucker to leave Charlotte turn out the lights". The show first aired on Tuesday Oct 21st, 1975.

I have that episode on VHS. The color isn't very good.

That episode was called "High Rollers" and was filmed in Las Vegas. Will had devised a card counting scheme he thought was working only to find out the dealer (his lady friend) was cheating to help him win. Will had planned to buy a new truck of his own. A nice Diamond Reo conventional and would have until she was fired for helping him. He let the money ride until the house won and then told them hey were to leave her alone.

The show first aired on Tursday December 5th 1974.

    Episodes of Movin' On

Actually there we 46 episodes of Movin On . . . well 47 if you count the pilot called "In Tandem" Here is a complete list of all the episodes and when they first aired.

I have 30 of the 46 on tape. I would like to locate all 46 episodes, convet them from VHS to DVD, then run them through Final Cut Pro on the computer and perform the color correction before burning them back to DVD. Perhaps one day we can all have a DVD collection of all of the episodes!!

Anyone willing to exchange an episode should email me at dwaynerussell@earthlink.net

If you have one the episodes I am missing I am willing to purchase it from you.
