There were 44, 60 min. episodes produced of Movin' On. I would like to find out where I could obtain some or all of them. It was not the best TV show to hit the air waves but I'm a truck nut and enjoy the older trucks that can be seen on the program.

Breaker 1-9... I was kinda young at the time it aired, but I still remember it to be one of my personal favorites. I also really liked 'BJ & the Bear' - anything that had big rigs. There is something about semi-trucks that brings out the kid in me. Maybe because my dad drove one when I was a child and I always loved to ride with him in the summer when school was out.

I remember my first glimpse of Claude Akins as a boy. For some reason I thought he was Ronald Reagan. Still this series beat his AMMCO commercials all to hell.

That was an interesting show. I was 10 yrs old when that came around. I know Claude Akins, but was the other guy Frank Converse! Haven't heard anything on him lately. The song was great too, think it was by Merle Haggard. Maybe they should show these older shows if possible on TV Land, get more variety in there!

I'm 36 yrs. old and remember the series. I recently purchased the pilot, In Tandem, and, the first Movin' On episode, "Breakout" from E-Bay. I enjoyed it far more than expected. Breakout featured Rosie Greer. His crackerbox GMC got alot of airtime. I would love to see re-runs!!!

Hey I liked them all! I was a kid in grade school back then in Wisconsin when this awesome show aired. Claude Akins used to visit the local area near Lake Koshkonong to hunt & fish. One day my father & a couple of my cousins were enjoying a few cold ones at a bar when Claude dropped in. Claude was a real nice guy because he came right up & started to chat with everyone as though he knew them all of his life, & then they shot pool together & talked about life. He was a real star! On & off of the silver screen!

A great many of the 44 shows were filmed in Georgia,  most in and around Atlanta... One show that comes to mind is when a load was being picked up at E.V. Camp Steel Works, just North of Atlanta... This company made ALL of the anchor chain for the Navy ships during WW II... I, my self picked up many loads of steel there before they closed their doors in the mid-'80... The property now has $300,000 + condos there...
