The episode I most remembered concerned a young boy who was troubled by some disorder or other and Bronson took him into his confidence and helped him to control his problem. I do not remeber the title but it has stuck with me all these years, or at least vague recollections of it. How I miss that show.

It was a great show. The episodes hold up quite well even today. My favorite episode was "The Old Motorcycle Fiasco", co-starring Keenan Wynn. The pilot movie was very good as well. Back in 1982, Michael Parks made an appearance in his Bronson persona on a Harley Sportster during the annual "Bike Week". At that time he'd announced a new, made-for-tv "Then Came Bronson" movie was in the works. Does ANYONE know whatever became of that project?!?? Parks has been acting since 1955, but I think "Bronson" was one of his best roles!

I loved this show and the movie that it was based on. It was like "Route 66" on a Harley. I can't believe that it's not available on VHS or DVD. Especially now with all those pseudo-biker Bronson-wannabes, including myself, riding around out there on Harleys. "The Forest Primeval" was my favorite episode - not an easy task, considering the overall superb quality of the series.

Loved it in the movie when the girl ran Bronson off of the road and he hopped back on his bike ,caught up with her and kicked a big dent in her car door. Also admired the fact that he had morals enough not to sleep with her due to the fact that she was engaged to be married.

A wonderful show! "Too good for TV," as they say, and much missed by those of us who value good, thoughtful writing & real substance in a TV show. The episode "The Forest Primeval" comes to mind, consisting of Bronson lost in the depths of a forest during a mounting storm, reflecting on the awesome power of Nature, with poetry voiced over the compelling images -- who would dare do something this different on TV today? If only the pilot & all the episode were available on video!

My favorite episode, at least the one that left its mark so indelibly, was the one where Bronson helped out on a small town newspaper fighting the chemical companies polluting the California coast. The newspaper owner and editor, a recovering alcoholic, is stressing out over maybe losing his paper and almost sells out to the establishment. Bronson talks him out of it with a line that comes back to me and stops me dead in my tracks whenever I start stressing out about money and stuff. He asks the editor, "How much do you need to live?"

But my favorite thing about the show is that here is this decent, educated, really spiritual guy so willing to take a chance and just live for today, you know, carpe diem, and trusting in the kindness of strangers. Thanks for hangin' in there.

When he helped the black guy who was down on his luck and the black guy thought Bronson was down on his luck so he had him over for dinner and a beer after riding together. The guy's wife was pissed because it was another mouth to feed that they could not afford. He spent the day with Bronson and they came to pick up his Road King but gave him one more day to get the money before repo time. Bronson left the next day and left the money to pay off the bike and some extra. Just goes to show what two good men are capable of. Named my shepard Bronson. I would like to see the show come back again with a new series. No commercial pretty boys for the role.

I would say my favorite episode was the two-hour pilot. I taped the entire series when TNT aired it around 15 years ago and about every six months or so, I'll watch several episodes. It's a timeless show and was so well made that it doesn't really date itself like many shows of that era. And I think its success as a cult classic is due mainly due to the excellent casting of Michael Parks. No one else could have pulled it off as well as Michael. To me, he personified "cool" better than James Dean.

I remember the episode where Bronson had as short time job at a school for challanged kids. The cast was great. Jack Klugman (without wig!) as the schools head, a very young Penny Marshall as a teacher, and Mark Lester (from the film, Oliver!) as a student. Another great episode was with Elsa Lancaster as an elderly woman Bronson was working for. I remember the scene, where Elsa's character waltzes with Bronson, and she dreams that its her late husband. Another scene, her character mentions that she was on the TITANIC. And that title song…
