Since I've discovered this forum I have been having a wild, far ranging nostalgia episode.  Remembering the sights and music of this great television series at a formable part of my life.  Scenes and lines from the series seem to have etched themselves into a lot of peoples memory banks.  I was wondering if someone could help me remember a line from the pilot that I think I remember the gist of it but not the complete quote. 

Bronson has bought Bonnie Bedelia's character a new dress with money he won in a hill climb (I think).  She tells him it is expensive.

His come back is something to the effect that he does not want the fear of losing the money in an accident to keep him from driving his bike on the high line on a curve in the road.  Or something like that.  I'm drawing on memories that are about forty years old now.  Maybe somebody with a copy of the pilot could help me out.
