    Memories of Chopper 1

What I remember was two hot young cops (including future A-Team member Dirk Benedict) riding around in their chopper (helicopter), chasing after roof snipers and the like. Folks in LA get the reality version of this show on a near weekly basis with all freeway chases they break into programming for down here!

    Re: Memories of Chopper 1

I remember Chopper One was on before a TV show called Fire House. Each show was 30 minutes long. I think Dirk Benedict's character was named Gil Foley. Jim's character was named something like John Birdick or something that sounded like that. I was just a kid, but thought it was a cool show. I remember the theme really got my psyched for the rest of the show. The best way to discribe the show was Adam 12 in the air.
