    Memories of Dean Martin Show

Growing up, I remember being able to watch TV any time.. Except when the Dean Martin show was on.. My mom would kick us out of the room.. She said that her boyfriend was on TV(I wonder if dad knew).

Re: Memories of Dean Martin Show

Wow! Does this show bring back memories! Good ole Dino, he was my very first love, or I guess you could say crush. I was only six years old when I saw the Dean Martin Show for the first time back in 1967, and immediately I was hooked. I thought he was the most handsome man I ever laid eyes on (still do). From then on, I never missed the Dean Martin Show, for I could hardly wait for Thursday nights to come, thank goodness my parents let me stay up late enough to watch it, since he came on at 10pm. And when he would sing, especially Everybody Loves Somebody, I would just melt. I would sometimes immitate him sliding down that infamous pole by sliding down the bed pole at home, and one time I tried it and accidently broke the pole into. Guess I was getting a little to big for that at the time. It was a nightmare then but now I can look back with very fond memories. Thank you for giving me a chance to relive some of the best times of my life!

Dean Martin was great actor and singer. I started getting his old variety show by mail order and I have his CD's to listen to. I was born in 1965 in which the show debuted. I liked the guest stars, the classic songs he sang and his association with the Rat Pack.

I remember watching Dean every Thursday night at 10pm with my mom. I could hardly wait each week for his show. We loved Dean. He had so much charm. Any woman would just fall in love with him. He will always be our hearts.
