    Memories of Paper Moon

The TV series Paper Moon with Jodie Foster was filmed on location near Hays, Kansas. My father, a college professor, had a speaking role in the show. Since its original broadcast in 1974, no one in my family has seen my father's short-lived TV career. In fact, my children can't believe that their grandfather was in a TV show with Jodie Foster. My father is getting up in years, and I would dearly love to give him a copy of his one and only moment in the spotlight. Do you have any suggesting regarding how I can secure a copy of the TV series Paper Moon? - Lisa Stehno-Bittel (If anyone can help, please email at lbittel@kumc.edu.)

    Re: Memories of Paper Moon

Next to Disney's CANDLESHOE, Jodie Foster was at her coolest in this Paper Moon TV series. I think it might have made it IF ABC had done it in black & white like the O'Neal's movie. The scene where Addie tries to get her $200 back in the cafe is a classic!
