My favorite episode was the one in which Lucas' young friend Glendon (sensitively played by Robbie Rist)turns to Lucas for guidance and moral support. Glendon's parents are out of the country and his grandmother (with whom he lives) is hospitalized with pneumonia. Lucas provides not only for the boy's physical needs, but also helps Glendon understand about illness, and the risk of losing someone you love. Despite the risks, Glendon learns that 'love is for always', and his grandmother recovers. --Gilla
